Job Description We are currently seeking an Optometrist to work collaboratively with our Ophthalmologists.

Responsibilities include:

Leading all clinical aspects while ensuring high quality patient care

Examine and diagnose eye disease such as glaucoma, cataracts and retinal diseases

Diagnose related systematic conditions such as hypertension and diabetes that may affect the eyes

Examine, diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia

Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, low vision rehabilitation and medications

Maintaining complete, timely and legible medical records
Requirements of the Optometrist

Doctorate of Optometry degree (OD) from an accredited medical school

NJ License to practice

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
