Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children seeks a Board certified (or eligible) Pediatric Anesthesiologist. Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology fellowship or significant experience with Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiology is preferred. The Heart Center at Arnold Palmer Hospital performs about 100 open heart cases, 300 cardiac catheterizations, and 40 EP studies per year. In addition, the Cardiac Anesthesia team provides coverage for cardiac MRI’s, patients with congenital heart disease undergoing non-cardiac surgeries and Interventional radiology cases performed in the Cath Lab.
The Heart Center includes 2 Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgeons, 11 Pediatric Cardiologists, 5 Pediatric Intensivists, and 3 Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesiologists. Within the Heart Center, anesthesia is provided by an all-MD team. Call coverage is every third week, from home, with infrequent callbacks. Highly competitive salary and benefits package.
