Reporting to the VP of Medical Affairs, the Director of Quality oversees, plans, and implements new and existing healthcare quality improvement initiatives and education programs; ensures maintenance of programs for members in accordance with prescribed quality standards; conducts data collection, reports and monitors key performance measurement activities; provides direction and implementation of URAC accreditation surveys and federal/state Quality Initiative compliance activities; contributes to one or more quality improvement functions (i.e. Quality Interventions and Quality Improvement Compliance); leads continuous quality improvement; and achieves optimal business process designs.
· Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) · Active RN license · Five years of Managed Care experience with three years of Quality Improvement experience · Three years of management experience · CPHQ or CHCA preferred
