With the support and direction of the Program Manager of Hospital Education, the Diabetes educator is responsible for carrying out the mutually agreed upon objectives and customer services of the Education program. The responsibilities require a person who views the Physician and Patient as a customer, who actively explores customer needs and fins creative solutions to satisfy those needs.
Current CA RN license required, BLS through American Heart Association required, Bilingual Spanish, RN with 1 yrs exp in Diabetes Education preferred, Certified Diabetes Educator preferred, Masters Degree preferred, good communication skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
