Hello, we are a large medical practice and are seeking a CDE, preferably with an RN or RD, to work with our team as a telemedicine diabetes educator.The job:
We have several thousand diabetic patients, the majority of whom are struggling with their A1c and other related goals.
Via telephone and video conferencing via a company issued smartphone that you'll be provided, you will work DIRECTLY us patients to provide diabetes "teleeducation".
This is why working from home is also possible! So long as you don't have dogs barking in the background ;-)

YOU WILL WORK DIRECTLY WITH the primary care physician and/or endocrinologist to make sure your patient understands their treatment protocol, recommend changes to the medical team as relevant, and most importantly - help your patients take charge of their life!You will be an immensely valued member of a comprehensive care team - the only way we know how to help patients with diabetes live life to the fullest.

Additional Salary Information: We would like this to be a well-paid FULL-TIME position, but are open to starting out as hourly so that we''re both comfortable with the "telemedicine" arrangement.Because you are helping us develop our "telemedicine" program we would like your compensation to reflect a "managers" salary at the beginning - there is a lot of work to do!
