The Pediatric Diabetic Educator is responsible for the education of Pediatric Patients, their caregivers, and Clinical staff in the specialized area of Pediatric Diabetes. Primarily this clinical position is responsible for 1:1 patient teaching with newly diagnosed diabetes.
The successful candidate will possess an GA RN License Degree and a Certificate as a Diabetes Educator.
Interpersonal skills, Good assessment skills, knowledge in all models of glucose monitors, products to assist blind, insulin pumps, CGMS, knowledge for reimbursement.
This is a pediatric specific position for a RN CDE and requires at least 12 months of pediatric job experience.
